First things first, I want us all to slay, live life, and love ourselves. I don’t want anyone to empty out their bank accounts trying to be cute, because that is NOT cute, sis! Let’s slay responsibly together. How does one accomplish this? I’m glad you asked! You can do this by practicing patience.
Keep your options open:
It’s so easy to jump on the first cute piece of clothing that you see on social media or while browsing online and click “ADD TO CART”. Try looking at other similar sites first. Often times, other boutiques will have the same slay piece by the same manufacturer for a cheaper price and/or better shipping options.
Just keep adding :
It’s ok to add, add, and add some more! I love adding everything slay to my cart and then just leaving it there! Online shopping makes it really easy to be an impulsive shopper. To counteract this, after filling up your cart full of all your slay looks leave them there and think it over.
If you’re tired be quiet and go to sleep:
Sometimes, sites will email you a coupon if they notice you’ve left something in the cart for a day or two as an incentive. This does not always work, but it has always worked for me on Pretty Little Things and Fashion Nova. Pretty Little Things is the MOST notorious for sending you super big discount codes to your inbox if you have multiple items in your cart.
This was discovered on accident. Last time, I received a code for 50% off because I had over $1000 worth of clothes in my cart and at that time they were only offering 30% off. By the way, I did not keep all of the items in my cart, but I was still able to utilize the 50% off on my purchase for the ultimate slay finesse!
